Artist Biography

Introducing a dynamic digital artist Serge Dumont

Dumont's new generation artist - I was born in Trois-Rivieres forty-five years ago. During my adolescence, I, like many others sons of Mauricie region, witnessed Gilles-Villeneuve's on-track Formula Atlantic exploits in the Tri-River city. The experience transformed me into an avid motorsports fan, and allowed me three decades later to express my passion for auto racing in my personal work. Like many artists, I was trained in a graphic arts and like others, I have earned my living at my profession. My free time is dedicated to the creation of artwork, generally of fairly large scale (18in x 34in), they combine several varied techniques. I frequently exhibit my artwork at activities related to the presentation of F1 Grand Prix, in Montreal of course, but also for the past several years, in Indianapolis.
